Job Description:

This position will lead the Planning & Production Control team within Raytheon Precision Machining (RPM). The position will ensure adherence to Manufacturing Resource Planning, policies and systems for Raytheon Missile Systems in Dallas Texas. The PC Manager will be responsible for effectively leading a team consisting of planner to effectively meet the business objectives of the factory.

The ideal candidate will be an influential leader and will ensure solid communication and alignment to processes and best practices. The candidate will support and drive common process implementations, developing Material Requirements Planning solutions and processes.

This position is responsible for executing all aspects of the RPM’s order-fulfillment value stream, enabling achievement of AOP (from contract award, to master schedule input to PRISM, to DD250 and delivery).
Additional responsibility includes material and production planning efforts to enable and support all key capabilities and Mission Areas.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in Production Control or related field
  • Operations & Supply Chain Management Experience
  • Demand planning, Integrated Planning, Sales & Ops Planning experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance

Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration with 8 years of related experience.
Desired Education:
  • Master’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain or Engineering with at least 10 years of related experience.
  • MBA, APICS CPIM certification
