High visibility opportunity for a Sr. Program Supplier Quality Engineer/Manager that will be located in Poland on a three year MOU managing and developing Raytheon’s in country subcontractor located in the Warsaw area.

As Raytheon’s Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer/Manager dedicated to a major Polish-based subcontractors/suppliers, you’ll play a critical role within our Quality Assurance organization. As the primary Quality Lead with this subcontractor, you’re the liaison between the Program and Subcontractor in ensuring that unique program requirements are met
As the primary quality interface between the Raytheon Program Office and our Polish subcontractors/suppliers, some of your responsibilities will include:
Development of a Program and Subcontractor Quality Plan ensuring ongoing quality support and surveillance.
Providing support for on-site problem resolution, including monitoring subcontractor's quality performance, and engaging in proactive improvement initiatives.
Collaborating with other Raytheon Quality functions and Cross Business Teams to affect rapid closure of issues utilizing analytical capabilities and communications skills.
On-site quality support and surveillance including performing Supplier Assessments, Purchase Order Flowdown Reviews, First Article Inspection acceptance, assuring compliance to Quality Notes and Special Process requirements, in-process inspections and final Raytheon product acceptance
Subcontractor performance review, including an independent assessment of progress-to-date, cost and schedule performance, and work product quality
This position can be a G10 or a G11 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibilities required for the position.
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
8+ years’ experience with Engineering, Quality, Supplier and/or Program Management
Extensive Patriot Program experience
Management, supervisory or lead experience
Quality Management Systems experience, with one of the following (ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent)
Experience with subcontractor assemblies
Experience with problem resolution of technical and quality issues
Experience in Military/Defense or Aerospace industries
Currently hold a U.S Security Clearance
Must have experience with multiple levels of internal/external customers
Flexibility in work assignment location and travel
Experience with supplier quality assessments including the following: requirement flow down, Technical Data Package reviews and translation to Manufacturing Data Package, and product acceptance and process evaluations at supplier’s facilities
Experience working issues (root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions), monitoring supplier performance data to identify trends, analyzing opportunities for continuous improvement and/or implementing supplier improvement actions
Knowledge of manufacturing operations such as metal fabrication techniques, welding, painting, plating, nondestructive testing and assembly of large structures
Knowledge of Military/Defense or Aerospace industry specifications/standards
General Statistical Process Control knowledge including implementation
General knowledge of industry technical standards (such as ANSI, CMMI, ASTM, etc.)
Six Sigma , Lean and / or ASQ Certification
Experience building and maintaining relationships with customers or partners (both internal and external to the company)
Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to speak Polish

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Technical Discipline
