Job Description:

This position will be based in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for a two year assignment with matrix reporting responsibilities to the Raytheon Middle East Systems (RAYMES) Country Manager, the IDS International Security Manager, and the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Security Manager. This is a high profile and fast-paced position requiring a security professional with experience across multiple security domains including but not limited to: Industrial and International security requirements; physical security/force protection; personnel and operations security. The role will require frequent interaction with Royal Saudi Air Defense Force (RSADF) security personnel, all members of the Jeddah based staff and their families, and Temporary Duty (TDY) personnel.

Duties include but are not limited to; planning, development, implementation, and testing of security policies and procedures; protection of personnel, company information and assets; and supervision of a large Saudi guard force. This position will conduct risk assessments and manage security projects associated with facility protection and business operations within Saudi Arabia. This person may also be called upon to do security site surveys at other locations within the Country as well as other Middle Eastern countries. This role will develop and administer IAMD security procedures for classified or proprietary and ITAR controlled materials, documents, and equipment for major programs. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining education programs to ensure personnel compliance with U.S. and KSA government and contract requirements.

The selected candidate will successfully create and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers, peers and senior management across multiple domains to accomplish the mission. This position requires a strong customer service and cultural awareness approach. The applicant must possess strong integrity, interpersonal skills, ability to make sound decisions, and take independent action to exceed customer expectations.

Location/MOU - This role will require forward deployment to the Raytheon Mission Center at Jeddah, KSA, under the terms of an MOU/Long Term International Assignment managed by Raytheon International Assignment Services (IAS).

Specific responsibilities include:
Provide security leadership and direction to in-country leadership team, staff, and TDY personnel
Report any security concerns that threaten IAMD information, resources, and contract execution to the IAMD Security Manager
Manage a large local Saudi Arabian security department consisting of 50 employees

Manage the local security administration to include processing of base passes for employees required to work or visit the military base

Manage the meet and assist services for employees, dependents and business visitors traveling in and out of KSA through Jeddah International Airport

Manage the drivers that provide driving services for VIP services, community services organized trips, expediting and other security related tasks
Provide/Coordinate executive protection services to visiting senior leadership with the IDS International Security Manager and MENA Regional Security Manager
Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with U.S., NISP, international, KSA Security and related ITAR regulations in addition to Corporate directives and policies
Manage security and personal safety procedures and briefing/training for all assigned personnel, their family members, and visitors
Conduct security investigations and surveys, including detailed recommendations for mitigation of all security vulnerabilities and violations

Required Skills:

  • Ten or more years of Security experience in progressively responsible positions
  • Intermediate or better proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Existing U.S. Secret clearance

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in managing international industrial security programs
  • Demonstrable experience in establishing and maintaining security programs and processes in accordance with the NISPOM Highly desirable
  • Strong cultural sensitivity, interpersonal, leadership and written/verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with import/export requirements associated with international classified contracts

Required Education (including Major):
  • Education – Bachelor’s Degree, Fields of study (not limited to): Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, Business, Liberal Arts, or related discipline
