Position Title: Mechanical Equipment Eng.
Position Description/Job Responsibilities
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Responsible for design, specification, selection and services relating to mechanical equipment such as rotating machinery, pressure vessels, atmospheric storage tanks, fired and unfired heat transfer equipment, utility equipment, packaged units, material handling and solids processing systems.
Under general supervision, performs all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter. May include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 3 years related experience, with average experience ranging from 3-7 years. Requires sufficient professional experience to assure competence as a fully trained professional. Work requires a broad knowledge of precedents.
BS is Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
3 to 7 years experience. Experience in the chemical, refining, or offshore energy industry.
Vendor drawing review and coordination.
Experience with PVElite or HTRI.
Willingness to travel domestically or internationally a plus.
