Position:  894-Communications Lead Type:  Full Time Location:  Dayton, Ohio

FTI is currently seeking a Communications Lead who will be responsible for developing and executing an integrated communication strategy that includes recruiting, public relations, and social media along with internal communications to drive engagement and employee satisfaction.  Within our fast-paced environment, this person will use their understanding and knowledge of branding and marketing to generate candidate interest, develop internal communication practices to help facilitate change management and employee engagement.  This person will work with our internal support functions and leadership team to develop compelling narratives, presentations, and internal stakeholder communications across multiple channels.  This position will report directly to the Vice President of Human Resources.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to create interest and awareness of FTI job opportunities through candidate communications, digital job board websites, social media and other recruitment channels
  • Plan and manage recruitment media campaigns; track, measure and report on campaign and recruitment marketing channel results
  • Design and execute internal campaigns to drive employee referrals & engagement
  • Establish an internal communications framework
  • Ensure company initiatives are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders; develop channels to gather feedback for leadership to respond accordingly
  • Ability to synthesize diverse activities into clear and compelling frameworks to help stakeholders understand how discrete actions support a broader agenda
  • Assist in the organization of all hands presentations and other formal meetings designed to share information with broad audiences
  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization
  • Directly responsible for written communications, from writing to layout and design
  • Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in building marketing / branding strategies across multiple channels and platforms, with an emphasis on digital and social media
  • Familiarity with the latest communications technology, including photo/video editing software, the ability to work with web content management systems and analytics tools and a high degree of knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Experience with internal communications and change management campaigns, focused on building engagement and driving adoption among dispersed populations of employees
  • Creative problem-solver; sees the value in brainstorming and collaborative innovation
