Lockheed Martin RMS is seeking a Software Engineering professional to join our team in Valley Forge, PA. This is an exciting Software Engineering Project Lead position in the C4ISR market segment in C4 Undersea Systems (C4USS) line of business, for a weapons control software product line. The Weapons Control system provides the necessary features for the preparation, support and strike sequence mission threads.

The candidate will collaborate with Government representatives, integration labs, and external organizations to define and lead the execution of the approved version plan using Agile development methodologies. The candidate will ensure that the solutions satisfy the overall system architecture. The candidate will maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of technologies, planning, design, and analysis methodologies as well as ensure software implementation decisions throughout multiple phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) are consistent with the defined architecture. This software lead will perform software engineering and development activities including requirements, design, code, test, deployment, and maintenance. He or she will work closely with the project leads, software team, and other supporting engineering disciplines.

We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, leadership experience and strong organizational skills. This position emphasizes integrity, personal accountability, initiative, and interpersonal skills.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience developing, testing, integrating, deploying, and maintaining software baselines
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM practices
- Experience with project planning, requirement management, system and software engineering, configuration control
- Current active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Leadership
Desired Skills:
- Certified Scrum Master
- Recognized certifications (CEH, Network+, Security+, others)
- Prior experience with secure software development and integration.
- Familiar with Linux & Windows environments, COTS/FOSS integration and configuration
- C++ or similar Object Oriented Language experience
- Software test and debug using Linux systems
- Automated testing, static analysis Experience developing control software for military applications
- Familiarity with DISA STIG, Network and System Administration, Test Automation and virtualization processes
- Familiarity with related systems such as GCCS-M, Aegis, Mission Planning Systems and strike weapons
