We are looking for a Manager of Information Systems Technology to join our team!

TheManager – Information Systems Technology is responsibleto provide people and technicalmanagement for employees; technical and performancemanagement of our various serviceproviders who engage in thedeliveryandsupportof operationalITsiteservicesfor all ELCAN geographicallocations.Theservicessupportunclassifiedinfrastructureincludingdesktopandserverhardware,software,handhelddevices,printservices,network,etc.Theperson in thisposition is alsoresponsiblefordeveloping,managing, and improvingthesupportprocessesused in theenvironment.

Job Duties and Requirements:
  • Provideoversightto various ITsiteleadersacrosstheorganization.Oversightincludesperformancemonitoring,development,staffing,oversight of localprojects,escalationinterface to suppliers and ITleadership,etc.
  • Provide IT leadership and guidance to all management levels at the site. Interfacing with the site leadership team and business partners at the site, which includes providing project and strategy updates on a regular interval basis or as needed.
  • Interfacing with program,mission,andfocus area representatives to develop,execute,maintainand improve theprocessesused to supporttheoperationalITenvironment.Thiswillincludedeveloping,collecting,analyzingand acting uponmetricsassociatedwith the deliveryofservicesunclassifiedareas.
  • Aligningsiteoperations with organizationobjectives and/or production priorities. This includesimprovingtheinterfacebetweensiteleaders and supportingorganizations within IT and tracking progress towardorganizationgoals.
  • Managing the various externalserviceproviderstoensurethey are performingtocontractualrequirements using Raytheonstandards and processes;analyzing and actingupon SLA and metricsdatatoensurecustomerservice and customersatisfaction.
  • Managing and leading a team of Raytheonemployees.This includesmanaging for results, talent development,careermanagement,performancereviews,goalsetting,communicationsmeetings,resourceplanningandallocation,andperformancemanagement.
  • Engaging as a member of the ELCAN Business Continuity team at the site andEnterprise level. This will include developing site InformationTechnology BC/DR plans and managing and executing exercises and real time events.
  • Managingthe site ITbudgets for theservicesprovided,includingall sub frameworks,capitalplanningandexpenditures,investmentopportunities,andrisksandchallenges.
  • Abilitytotravel to varioussitelocations, as businessneedsarise(approx.10% of time) and participation with the Site Services team.
Key Competencies:
  • Bachelors’ of Science(B.S.) in Engineering,ComputerScience,orrelatedtechnicalarea required
  • Masters’ Business Administration (M.B.A.) or applicable IT field an asset
  • Minimum of 8years of relatedworkexperience
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • ExperiencewithITgovernanceandsupportmodels
  • Experienceworking in a matrixorganizationalenvironment
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Previousexperiencemanagingexternalserviceproviders and achievingcustomerservicesatisfaction
  • Experience in managing services in an outsourcedenvironment
  • Understandingofthecurrentgovernanceandsupportmodels
  • Understandingofthedistributedcomputingenvironment & strategicinitiatives at boththebusiness and enterpriselevelthatwilldrive service offerings and models
  • ITILFoundationscertification
  • ITILServiceOperationscertification
  • Previousexperienceleadinggeographicallydispersedteamspreferred
  • Six Sigma certification
  • Abilitytoanalyzemetrics/data to mitigaterisks,identifyopportunities and makesoundbusinessdecisions
