Job Description:
Raytheon IIS is seeking applicants to participate in a team environment taking innovative facilities engineering solutions through the entire life-cycle including conceptualization, hands-on installation and testing, as well as operations and maintenance support. The candidate will be part of a team that provides operations and maintenance support to an existing OCONUS location with a continuous emphasis on site improvements (efficiencies). The site is monitored remotely via a building management system, but the onsite staff relies on recommendation / solutions from the CONUS based staff when issues develop.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the OCONUS site’s electrical systems, to include the building management system. The site is on critical power (shore power, generator, and battery backup).
  • Maintain electrical all as-built designs, ensuring all changes at site are recorded and documented properly.
  • Participate in future site design development (site improvements or modifications).
  • Analyze data from the site’s monitoring system to assist design development, site expansion capabilities, or determining inefficiencies.
  • Assemble weekly power reports for our customer to documents site systems usage and
    capacities.
  • Deploy to site (OCONUS) as required to oversee any electrical system modifications.


Required Skills:
  • Experience in critical power systems (uninterrupted power) to include shore power, generator back-up, and battery back-up components; and the associated switchgear;
  • Familiar with building management systems; operating, monitoring and programming (modifying the program);
  • Must be willing and able to travel as required. Some OCONUS travel is anticipated;
Desired Skills:
  • Familiar with controls that are integrated into our site (Systecon is current brand).
  • Familiar with new constriction build outs. capturing and designing customer electrical requirements
Required Education (including Major):
  • Must have Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

U.S. citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance (TS/SCI with FS Polygraph) on day one of employment.
