This position supports the GEOINT Search and Retrieval (GSR) program and provides the ability to enable efficient and effective discovery and retrieval of GEOINT and data related to GEOINT production.
Provide support to ES/GSR activities.
Serves as a member of team that provides strategic acquisition and operational acquisition and advice alongside the ES and GSR PM.
Provides support to the ES/GSR programs throughout the project’s life cycle.
Provides expertise in the PeopleSoft Asset Management (PSAM) database.
Maintains office-level intranet sites to include creating and maintaining SharePoint files.
Supports various technical meetings and boards, take and distribute minutes.
Identifies issues, options and actions for problem resolution.
Coordination, Meetings and Program Management Support:
Establishing system methodologies and standards for the ES/GSR program.
Working with the customers/partners, Data Content POCs and other forums to identify new and emerging ES requirements.
Works directly with the ES/GSR customers to support ES/GSR integration with NSG capabilities.
Maintains a rapport and positive business relationships with appropriate organizational entities.
Provides technical advice and expertise to project team members.
Maintains an awareness of assigned tasks/projects and understanding the technical interdependencies.
Must have in-depth knowledge of the Program Management processes with ability to lead a Digital Six Sigma team focused on process improvements. Additionally, be able to oversee/ conduct subsequent training and rollout efforts to institutionalize process improvements.
In addition to the basic knowledge, the Sr. Project Manager must understand estimation methods, critical path analysis, earned value techniques and be able to integrate process and quality dimensions into the balance of resources, time and functionality.
Must have a BS/BA Engineering, Sciences, or Other Related Program Field and at least 5 years of directly related experience.
Advanced Degrees (M.S. / MBA) preferred.
In lieu of formal education, 13 years of directly related experience.
Must have familiarity with creating SharePoint sties.
Must have experience supporting NSG acquisition programs and i
nternational acquisition support.
