Provide full time analytical support to the Army Futures Command (AFC) Air and Missile Defense Cross Functional Team (AMD CFT).
The incumbent will support the AMD CFT by providing analysis to assist in developing specialized capability solutions for approval by AFC and Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA).
Facilitates requirements development by participating in unique CFT-related capabilities development forums.
Establish relationships across the DoD staff, the Army Staff, ASAALT, AFC, and other Army Commands to articulate needed capabilities and recommend potential solutions to fill critical gaps.
Provides written analysis and products to support senior leader decision making.
Interfaces with and participates in CFT work groups and HQDA work groups to derive materiel solution recommendations for priority development.
Synchronizes doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership, personnel, facilities and policy (DOTMLPF-P) efforts for selected priority capabilities.
Coordinates and leads CFT work groups as required.
Incumbent will be familiar with DoD and Army strategic documents, the Acquisition Process (to include rapid acquisition process), PPBE, Army modernization strategy, and capability gap assessment.
Bachelor of Science in Business, Engineering or similar function and 10
years of related experience required.
Experience in Air and Missile Defense, specifically, TRADOC Capability Manager, is highly desired.
Army Staff experience and Fires Center of Excellence experience (specifically TRADOC Capability Manager) highly desired.
Must be familiar with DoD and Army strategic documents, the Acquisition Process (to include rapid acquisition process), PPBE, Army modernization strategy, and capability gap assessment.
Must have an active secret level security clearance. Must be a US citizen to support this contract.
