Description:

  • Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes.
  • Reviews system and application logs, and verifies completion of scheduled jobs to include but not limited to: Network storage, Backups, MS Exchange, Active Directory, Group Policy, Patch Management (SCCM), and OS deployments.
  • Sets up administrator and service accounts.
  • Maintains system documentation
  • Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
  • Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
  • Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
  • May program in an administrative language.
  • Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.
  • Provides advice and training to end-users.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Qualifications:

2-5 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.

 

Certifications:

  • DOD 8570 - Security + CE
  • Certified Ethical Hacker v. 9 (CEH)

No Shift Work, rotating on call duty once a month.
