Job Description:


  • Requirements and Acquisition Policy Analyst Support Headquarters Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) operations requirements development activities, including Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) processes and guidance, in addition to advising leadership and training the HQ staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise level review of Major Command and Higher Headquarters instructions, guidance and policy changes
  • Maintain/update AFSPC JCIDS guidance materials and perform Alternate Management Inspection POC duties
  • Manage the Information &Resource Support System for the division
  • Provide subject matter expertise on all JCIDS and AF Form 1067 products for the AFSPC corporate process, AFROC and CRB as SME advisor to the HQ AFSPC representative
  • Manage and maintain the branch web page on the AF Portal
  • Manage and maintain training status of all requirments management certification-required personnel; assist in maintaining suspenses for training
  • Provide curriculum and conduct JCIDS, PPBE and DAS training in Colorado Springs, CO and at other locations designated by the HQ
  • Assist with daily taskings



Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Recent experience in HQ AFSPC—extremely knowledgeable in HQ structure and processes
  • Expert in JCIDS and acquisition policy/process
  • Expert in strategic planning
  • Expert in concept development
  • 5+ years’ experience as AF classroom instructor
  • Working knowledge of all current AFSPC space weapon systems

Desired Education/Certification:

  • Master’s degree
  • Requirements Management Certification Training (RMCT) Certified
