Lockheed Martin Space is looking for an entry level inventory manager to support the FBM program. This is an ideal chance to initiate your career in Advance Procurement at an exciting time on our program. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, self-starter eager to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

This person will be part of a geographically distributed team which plans and manage inventory to ensure ready for issue inventories support missile disassembly, reassembly and spares requirements.

What does this role look like?

You will collaborate with engineering, finance and business operations, and program management while working with the entire Advance Procurement team to translate authorized customer requirements. You will develop and maintain production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization for program sustainment.
• Works with cross-functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes and status, and facilitate communication between stakeholders.
• Coordinates with Manufacturing and Operations organizations to, analyze production schedules, execute the plan, provide timely status or work around plans to preserve schedule.
• Provides feedback to management; schedules and/or interfaces with program, production and engineering managers.
• Coordinates, negotiates and obtains commitments from affected organizations for the activities necessary to incorporate design changes and manufacture hardware in support of contract requirements, master schedules and operation support requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience or Classroom knowledge of planning/scheduling for multiple types of projects (e.g. assembly & test, long lead, or engineering & development)
• Experience with critical path measurement analysis
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word and Power Point
• This position requires special access to support the program and requires US Citizenship.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with multiple planning tools
• Earned Value Management experience (cost/schedule experience)
• SRA (Schedule/Risk Analysis) experience
• Experience presenting to Director Level or above.
• Evidence of project lead responsibilities
• Experience with Microsoft Project/Microsoft Project Server
