This individual will be part of the Environmental Technology Group within Materials & Process Engineering, working on both internal and customer-funded projects. The individual will provide support for Hazardous Materials Management Plans (HMMP’s) and progress reports for various customers. The individual will also be a member of an Integrated Product Team supporting efforts for Materials of Concern (MOC) reduction for the development and production programs. Depending on the status of funding, the selected candidate will also have the opportunity to participate and learn state-of-the-art modeling and simulation tools in the field of materials science and engineering. Finishes / Metals related Materials and Process Engineering experience would be a plus. Experience in modeling and simulation tools is also a plus. This engineer will work closely with multi-functional teams, including design engineering, manufacturing, and quality organizations. Strong communication and written skills are required.
Basic Qualifications:
B.S. in Environmental Science, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent with 0-5 years applicable experience in this field is desired.
Desired Skills:
Finishes / Metals related Materials and Process Engineering experience would be a plus. Experience in modeling and simulation tools is also a plus.
