The TOW Weapon System program in the Land Warfare Systems product line has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst II in support of the program’s missile production, launcher production, and logistics support contracts. Due to the multiple contract aspect, the ideal candidate must be able to prioritize and allocate resources in a challenging, deadline driven environment. In addition, professional and effective communication skills are required due to the frequent interaction with program and functional leadership.

Primary Responsibilities:

Duties will include labor and/or other resource forecasting, project setup, actuals reporting and analysis, as well as Manpower planning and reporting. The successful candidate will also collect and consolidate summary level contract performance information to help create financial presentations including RONA, EACs, PLRs, and Corp Ops. Experience in providing support of financial planning activities (AOP, 5-year, forecasting) is desired, but not required. A qualified candidate will have strong financial/analytical skills, as well as a fundamental understanding of functional roles and responsibilities in a production environment (touch & support labor), as well as familiarity with program control responsibilities.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis or related financial experience
  • Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing information and conditions
  • A qualified candidate should have strong financial analytical skills as well as a fundamental understanding of functional roles and responsibilities in a production environment
  • Familiarity performing qualitative or comparative analysis with an emphasis on variance explanation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Candidates should be independent, self-motivated, and proactive
Desired Skills:

  • Experience in using SAP, PRISM, and Business Warehouse systems
  • Experience with APEX EV & PRISM EV
  • Experience in program finance, managing multiple contracts and customers
