Description:-Lead execution of specialty engineering (reliability, safety, testability) activities for LRASM Future Applications to include the Navy Marine Expeditionary Ship Interdiction System (NMESIS), new platform/customer variants and responding to other new application customer requests.
-The selected candidate will be an integral member of the engineering team and influence the design for sustainment.
-Responsibilities include providing status on system safety, reliability engineering and FRACAS activities as part of management reviews.
-Coordinate system safety efforts for execution of tasks including system and S/W safety hazard analyses.
-Present specialty engineering status at program reviews.
-The successful candidate should be an agile thinker and executor able to move from a strategic level to the implementation level in interactions with multiple audiences and groups.

Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent combination of professional experience / education.
Must have at least 9 years of hands-on / professional experience.
Must have knowledge / experience in the following specialty engineering tasks:
-Experience with the principles and requirements of missile design, integration and test efforts.
-Experience with Department of Defense (DoD), Joint Service Safety Review Boards or equivalent.
-Safety Hazard Analyses, including Fault Tree Analysis
-FMECA and BIT effectivity analyses
Candidates must also have experience with:
-Experience with technical presentation to customers and senior management.
-Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software products.
-Active secret (or Top Secret) security clearance.
-Experience in managing technical personnel highly desired.
-Earned value management experience.
-Experience with technical proposal activities including Technical Volume development, man-power estimation and BOE production.
-Reliability test experience a plus.
-Fuze development/qualification to MIL-STD-1316 and/or ignition circuit design IAW MIL-STD-1901 is a significant plus.
-Software Safety analyses per AMCOM 385-17 and AOP 52; including Hardware/Software fault insertion design and test experience.
-Experience in electrical circuit design and/or performing bent pin analysis/energy trace.
-Energetic material qualification and insensitive munitions testing (IAW MIL-STD-2105/NAVSEA 8020.5) or lithium battery certification to NAVSEA S9310-AQ-SAF-010 experience is a plus.
-Knowledge of Human Factors and Systems Engineering.
-Reliability and Maintainability engineering knowledge.
-Hazardous Materials Management knowledge.
