Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, Senior Storekeeper, or Assistant Storekeeper, this position has the following responsibilities:
-Work schedule will be Sunday night thru Thursday night from 10pm to 6:30am.
-Pay Rate: $16.12
-Perform all duties associated with material handling, loading, unloading, and transport/delivery of materials by trucks and material handling equipment, as well as clerical/terminal work related to these duties.
-Lift material up to 60 lbs. without assistance.
-Stock shelves as well as climb ladders up to 20 feet.
-Operate computers and equipment associated with inventory management and bar coding technology accurately and efficiently.
-Build effective working relationships with internal and external customers, co-workers, and supervisors through the use of teamwork, trust, continuous improvement and personal development.
-Perform duties at district and satellite storerooms as well as field locations as assigned.
-Count and verify all issues and returns.
-Operate material handling equipment (e.g. pallet transporter, electric, gasoline and diesel lift trucks).
-Perform general housekeeping of warehouse area.
-Count material for physical inventory cycle counts.
-Ability to operate various types of forklifts, knuckle booms, hand trucks, and pallet jacks, indoors and outdoors, on all terrain, and in all weather conditions.
-Comply with all Company safety standards and environmental regulations, including safe work practices, as described in the “Safety Guidelines” manual.
-Subject to scheduled and unscheduled overtime to respond to call-ins.
-Must possess a clean valid driver’s license.
-Must obtain CDL permit with Hazardous Waste endorsement within 90 days of accepting position.
-Candidates must pass all pre-assessment testing for this position and are subject to a background check and drug screening.
