We have an opportunity for an experienced Planning Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our team based in Manchester. Our planning team in Manchester works primarily within the North West, but there are opportunities to work across the rest of the UK where appropriate and required, and in conjunction with our national planning colleagues based in our London, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle and Glasgow offices.
This area of our business has seen significant growth and as such we now need to strengthen our team; this role will allow someone to work within team which will give you the opportunity to be involved in all aspects and work closely with Partners and clients.
As the Planning Consultant / Senior Consultant you will provide professional commercial planning advice to our clients within private and public sectors by instructions managed by our Partner, Senior colleagues and yourself. You will also be a pivotal team member who will contribute to billings and profit targets.

Within this role you will focus on providing planning advice within our priority areas (residential, public sector, education, commercial/industrial and retail/leisure), supporting the team’s Business Plan to develop our client portfolio and increase our revenue.
You will work closely with our clients and senior colleagues, developing those relationships, ensuring we are giving professional advice, which is accurate and within the set deadline within the specific projects.
As well as this we will require you to develop your internal and external network, seeking new business opportunities and working closely with other members of the wider team and other skill lines within the office looking at potential cross-selling opportunities.
You will ideally have at least 2 years post-qualification (MRTPI) professional planning experience and be confident in advising clients and independently managing smaller planning instructions. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• An interest and understanding of the wider real estate industry sector

Qualification / Experience
• Degree level qualification
• MRTPI Qualified
• Ideally 2+ years post MRTPI experience
