A competitive salary between £47,000 – £57,000 – dependent on capability

About the role
In excess of 190,000 invoices are received from third party suppliers to National Grid each year and processed through the Accounts Payable service managed by UK Business Services Purchase to Pay function. Processing and paying the supplier invoices effectively is essential in ensuring the accurate recording of costs incurred by the business and the prompt payment of National Grid’s suppliers.
The Accounts Payable Service Manager is responsible for the delivery of Accounts Payable services within the Purchase to Pay end to end business process to National Grid’s internal customers and external suppliers whilst ensuring compliance to key business controls.
Working with key stakeholders, the Accounts Payable Service Manager will be key to supporting development and enduring improvements to the ‘I want to buy’ Customer Journey, reviewing, developing and continuously improving the AP processes to provide customers with an effective and efficient high quality accounts payable service.
