Assistant POL Superintendent
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
It is expected that the Assistant POL Superintendent, as management personnel, coordinate as needed with other Contractor management/ employee personnel for all Annexes, and Government personnel for all Annexes, to solve problems and meet PWS specification and performance standards for day-to-day operations in all PWS areas such as, but not limited to, fire protection and prevention, logistics, facility services to include equipment maintenance, grounds maintenance and landscaping, and all relevant contract and support issues pertaining to POL management and operations. All employees must be literate in English to the extent of reading and understanding printed technical documentation, regulations, detailed written orders, training instructions and materials, conducting and participating in POL operations and exercises, and be able to compose reports which convey complete information
Must have SECRET Clearance.
At least five (5) years of experience in liquid fuels and fuel terminal operations (i.e., receiving POL products; issuing via tank truck, pipeline, barge, ship and tank car; maintenance, repair and modification of POL storage, distribution and dispensing systems).
One(1) of the five years of experience must have been served in a supervisory capacity.
Five (5) years of experience as a qualified liquid fuels system maintenance technician.
Two (2) years of specialized experience with pressure-type hydrant and pantograph fuel systems. Mechanical, electrical, control and fire prevention expertise is required.
Knowledge of DLA Energy Fuel Energy Defense Express (FMDE) is a plus
Personnel designated as “Person in Charge” shall meet the requirements of 33 CFR 154.170.
personnel shall be trained/certified accordance with NAVAIR 00-80T-109; if operating Air Force refueling/defueling equipment shall be trained and certified in accordance with AFI 36-2201; and personnel must meet Personnel Qualification Standard (PQS) for Aviation Fuel Operations Ashore (NAVEDTRA 43288) prior to commencement of work where applicable.

Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 15 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
