The Engineering Technician position will support the assembly and integration of analog and digital cables for use in systems in the realm of signal processing, information processing, and display processing on unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) and remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) platforms. Assemblies include coaxial cables, RF connectors, and electrical cables, ribbons, combined with complex connectors/in-outs.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast- paced, work environment.


Job Duties may include:

  • Assembly of digital and analog cables and connectors
  • Testing of digital and analog cables and connectors
  • Assembly and integration of electromechanical components
  • Electrical wiring system and circuit board failure diagnostics and repair
  • System assembly and testing of payload assemblies, training equipment, and kit packaging
  • Deployment/retrieval of UUV and ROV systems





Candidate Requirements:

  • Active SECRET clearance
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with manufacturing and testing of electrical circuits and systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in soldering, crimping, and manufacture of wires.
  • At least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting electrical wiring diagrams, circuit board repair, and basic programming skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with UUV and ROV systems

Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Hand soldering certification and/or training
  • Basic programming skills
  • Cable and wire harness assembly certification and/or training (IPC-A-620)
