The Next Generation Radar Products (NGRP) Generation 5 (Gen5) Radar Program Manager is responsible for executing the design, development, integration and test of radar software and LRU’s (Antenna, Common Integrated Sensor Processor, Receiver Exciter, and Radar Power Supply). The Gen5 Radar Program Manager is responsible for planning and execution at the facilities in El Segundo CA. This role will provide leadership to cross-functional teams and key partners to ensure successful execution of the radar development and transition to production activities to meet company financials and programmatic objectives, including on-time delivery, EAC, AOP bookings, sales and cash requirements. This role will support Customer Reviews, Program Management Reviews, financial and technical meetings. The Gen5 Radar program manager must be comfortable frequently interacting and dealing with the customers and senior leadership.
Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 12 years relevant experience including Development and/or Program Management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate across multiple functional areas such as Finance, Scheduling, Supply Chain, Operations, Production and Engineering
  • Proven effective communication skills in presenting internal/external information to management and/or customers
  • Proven proposal experience – can proactively lead as proposal manager across all performing organizations
  • Proven experience with RTN financial practices (SRO, Formal Forecast, EAC, AOP) and EV certified.
  • Proven demonstration of leadership competencies, especially influential communications, strategic thinking, cultivating innovation, collaboration, developing talent, customer focus, and driving results
  • Proven experience supporting organizational financial objectives/planning activities such as authorization requests, meeting projected sales, profit and cash requirements.
  • Must be able to lead a team and be able to work independently without much supervision.
  • Must obtain Program Management Certification, in accordance with RP-248
  • US Citizenship is required
  • DoD Secret clearance is required
Desired Skills:
  • Program Management Certification Level 4
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS) or equivalent in Engineering, Science, Mathematics Program Management and/or Business.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
