Security - Industrial Security Manager

Job Description:
This is a multifaceted security position that will serve as the Assistant Facility Security Officer of a large and highly complex facility. The selected candidate should possess a multi-disciplined security background as she/he will assist with implementing all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). This position will be a direct report to the Facility Security Officer (FSO)/Security Manager of Raytheon’s Tewksbury, MA facility. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily oversight of a highly complex classified facility that requires working knowledge of a security education program, badging/visitor control, office administration functions, and Document Control.
  • Investigating security violations and preparing detailed and concise reports.
  • Coordination with Physical and Technical Security Teams to help construct DoD Closed Areas, maintain camera coverage and manage the access control system.
  • Conduct a wide range of security related briefings to all levels of staff.
  • As directed, supervise and/or provide mentoring to other junior staff.

This position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance. Except in very rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Industrial Security
  • Ability to develop solutions to a variety of complex situations
  • Thorough experience and understanding of the NISPOM and requirements involved with its implementation
  • Thorough experience and understanding of DD-254s, to include review and interpretation of incoming and drafting and releasing of outgoing.
  • Currently holds an active secret security clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret.

Desired Skills:
  • Provide full-range coverage for the FSO as required
  • Ability to confidently interface with Defense Security Service representatives and high level Raytheon leadership officials
  • Polished supervisory skills and leadership presence
  • Understanding of Raytheon Security Systems (Perspective, Access Commander, Visitor Registration System, eSecurity, etc.) or their equivalents
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with Government Security Systems (JPAS, NISS, DISS, etc.)
  • Experience with other Security disciplines to include Physical Security, Counterintelligence, Information Assurance, Personnel Security

Required Education (including Major):
  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of relevant professional experience. Experience in lieu of degree will be at the sole discretion of the hiring manager.
