Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• You will perform all test engineering functions related to propulsion, pneumatics, and fluid system test operations, starting with the review and evaluation of system test engineering requirements to insure completeness of test program. Followed by coordination of all functional groups within the EPL, for the integrated testing activities along with outside organizations, including systems engineering, subcontractors, government representatives, customers, oversight consultants, and program internal support organization.
• You will perform the task management of the EPL assigned tasks, addressing budgets and schedules as related to test fixture design, fabrication, checkouts and test conduction. • You will perform automated test procedure generation which will include hazardous operations using high-pressure gases, fluids, cryogenics, hypergolics, etc. System, sub-system & component level testing of acceptance, qualification & development hardware.
• You will act as the Certified Test Conductor for all levels of testing which includes performing analysis of test results and preparing comprehensive system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Ability to travel to other SSC campuses to perform Certified Test Conductor (CTC) activities (up to 15-20%)
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• US Citizenship required
Desired Skills:
• Prefer a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
• CTC
• Cryogenics experience
• Hypergolic experience
• Works well in a team environment
• Fundamental knowledge of space craft propulsion test operations
• Fundamental knowledge of VeCAMS, Automation Framework and MS Project knowledge
• Strong communication skills
