The Senior Financial Analyst – Enterprise Procurement Finance will support the financial planning and reporting processes for the Enterprise Procurement Organization. The position will be responsible for accurate reporting of financial results, forecasts, the annual budget process, variance analysis, data consolidation and special projects. The position performs highly complex analysis and research for the assigned financial areas.
Position Responsibilities
Provide analytics and research to support brand pricing strategies and actions
Develop financial models to allow for margin management analysis
Prepare summary analyses and presentation packages to discuss recommendations for action with Procurement, Brand & Senior Management
Analyze & Report on cost reduction projects for assigned areas
Support the annual financial plan and monthly forecast processes
Identify areas for continuous improvement and cost savings
Leverage analytics and insights that deliver solutions
Other special projects and ad hoc reporting as required
Establish strong working relationship with business partners to provide effective counsel and analysis to assist meeting the established financial objectives.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
Five years general business and financial experience
Self motivation to perform in a fast pace environment
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong knowledge of general business concepts
Strong computer skills in MS Excel required
Ability to analyze and assimilate financial information into actionable data and recommendations
Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment
Proven ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal customers, peers and effectively manage those relationships
Experience effectively working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge
Experience accurately forecasting in a given area and understanding the key drivers of that area
Ability to leverage analytics, benchmarking, and insights to generate meaningful financial strategies and solutions
Knowledge of Cost Accounting and Commodity markets preferred
Experience with SAP and multi-dimensional database tools (Access and/or SQL) preferred
