The Field Service Supervisor shall be responsible for all maintenance and service related functions performed under this contract. The Service Manager shall have a minimum of 7 years of experience managing the service related functions of an electronic security contract of similar size and complexity to the NPSP. These functions include the dispatching and tracking of all maintenance calls, preventive maintenance visits and non-maintenance.

Directs the service and repair of Electronic Security Equipment.

Responsible for the management, integration and coordination of work groups and/or units engaged in similar or related routine maintenance activities.

Establishes unit objectives, work plans, schedules, and ensures resources are available for completion of established operational assignments.

Performs administrative activities (i.e., developing budgets, cost/benefit analyses).

Advises staff on operational projects and tasks.

May perform higher level tasks associated with an individual contributor role.

Focuses on resources development and process improvements.

Evaluates and implements changes in work procedures in assigned areas.

Recommends candidates for employment. Conducts performance evaluations, plans salary actions, recommends promotions, interprets and applies organization policies, and monitors and resolves employee situations.

Develops and trains subordinates.

Enhances communications by facilitating team meetings.

Performs all other duties as assigned

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent with technical knowledge and at least 10 years of progressive experience in managing Electronic Security maintenance/logistics activities. Specific contract requirements will prevail.
  • Clearance: Public Trust


  • At least 7 years of experience managing service related functions of large electronic security contracts that are national in scope.
  • Leadership skills; ability to counsel, coach, develop and motivate staff of professionals.
  • Team building and facilitation skills.
  • Solid communication/presentation skills.
  • Exhibits full use of standard theories, principles, concepts and techniques
  • Comprehensive knowledge of advanced aspects of military maintenance/logistics specialties in assigned area(s) of responsibilities
