The Candidate will work on mechanical engineering tasks for a variety of system integration and mechanical design projects.  Tasking includes but not limited to: research, specification, and document engineering drawings, plans, and other related documents and materials.  
  • The individual will be called on to support program deliverables, evaluations, system assessments, and assist with level of effort (LOE)/ Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates.  
  • Will perform modeling of components and assemblies as part of design, testing, and prototype fabrication.  
  • Assist with development of static and dynamic design and analysis of mechanical systems, equipment and packages.  
  • Directs support personnel in the preparation of detailed design and documentation. 
  • Provides design information to drafting for packaging documentation. 
  • Potential to conduct design testing and prototype fabrication.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 0-3 years’ experience. 
  • Design and analysis of mechanical systems, equipment, and packages.  
  • Proficient with SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, and CREO required.  
  • Experience with Microsoft-based applications such as Word, Excel, Project, and Access, using Windows operating systems.     
  • Engineer must be able to perform checking of Military Standard drawings for correctness per MIL-STD-31000A and ASME Y14.100 standards.  
  • Engineer must be able to capture design requirements from multiple sources.  
  • Candidates should have an understanding of metals and painting requirements for different metals. 
  • Organization and attention to detail are a must.  
  • Must be an US citizen and ability to obtain interim Secret security clearance.
  • Candidates with Secret Security Clearance Level already obtained is preferable.  
  • Prior military and/or Radar experience a plus.  
  • Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.  
  • Experience in Finite Element Analysis preferred.
  • A focus on the understanding of Robust Design and Quality Engineering is highly desired.
