This position is for a Principal Financial Analyst, working within the Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS) Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality (OSQ) Finance organization. This specific position will be as the team lead for the RMS Supply Chain Finance group and will be located at Tucson, Arizona.

This position offers the candidate an opportunity to expand their own leadership and management skills as well as the growth and the development of the individuals that support this critical area. The group’s responsibility includes manpower planning and analysis, material forecasting and analysis, material and overhead risk and opportunity management, material EAC consolidation, as well as a wide variety of strategic initiatives to help the Supply Chain organization meet its financial targets. The team lead will provide day to day guidance, direction, and training to the Supply Chain finance team as well as complete their own related assignments. The position necessitates an ability to work well with a variety of customers with a varied skill sets and experiences. A key expectation is that the team lead be a leader and a role model by example.

A successful candidate will need to show flexibility in job abilities, strong communication skills, a proactive problem solving nature and a desire to help the company, the organization, and individuals grow and succeed.

Minimum Required Skills:
Minimum 6-years of related experience with a related Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance,Accounting, Economics or Math or a related field, OR 4 years’ of related experience with related Master’s Degree

  • Aptitude for working in a team environment to achieve results
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, comfortable speaking in small groups; has the ability to confidently and professionally share opinions with every level of management
  • Compliance sensitive to RMS financial policies and procedures
  • Extremely organized and deadline driven
  • Effectively lead and participate in meetings
  • Confident level of exposure to manpower and material forecasting
  • Solid abilities relating to financial systems (SAP, BW, etc.), and tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
Highly Desired Skills:

  • Inquisitive (and acts on it) with strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Basic knowledge of PRISM
  • A drive for leading process change, willing and able to partner with cross business teams to improve financials
