General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an immediate need for an Oracle EBS Functional Analyst with specific knowledge, ability of creation, development, design, and maintenance of Oracle E-Business Suite applications to support existing and future information technology activities relating to software development and other projects as they are identified.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads, analyzes, designs, develops, and implements modules relating to Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and General Ledger functionality of Oracle E-Business Suite; works under limited supervision; performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Designs, tests, and debugs complex new software products, or makes significant enhancements to existing.
  • Researches and integrates design strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities.
  • Resolves complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations.
  • Lead and participate in highly complex projects with USPS.

We can only accept US citizens and/or Green Card Holders. The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years and not have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days. 

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED)

  • 10+ years of technical, business, or related field experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (PREFERRED)

  • Familiarity with Incident and Change Management tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Experience in implementing modules relating to Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and General Ledger functionality of Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Experience as a Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) Consultant implementing in the following modules: AR, AP, GL, INV, PO, OM, WMS.
  • Strong implementation background and ability to solution complex business requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of the modules to minimize the RICE development and use COTS functionality in designing solution.
  • Understanding of the Oracle implementation methodology.
  • Understanding documentation of RICEWF components and ensure document compliance.
  • Understanding of Oracle's Mapped Business Requirement documents (BR.030) to assist in the evaluation of accuracy and completeness.
  • Understanding of Oracle's Business Requirement Scenarios documents (RD.050) to assist in the evaluation of accuracy and completeness.
  • Understanding of Oracle's Business Flows documents (MD.050) to assist in the evaluation of accuracy and completeness.
  • Understanding of the Oracle BR.100 document. Ensure document meets USPS needs by assisting in evaluation of accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to mentor/train USPS personnel on BR.100 documents, what to look for, etc.
  • Ability to provide recommendations on configuration and setup parameters based on other Asset Management implementations.
  • Assist USPS in identifying and documenting gaps in the Oracle product set.
  • Provide recommendations on business process changes based on other Asset Management implementations and Oracle functionality.
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum management tools such as VersionOne.
  • Strong analytical skills in resolving issues and problem solving.
  • Strong oral, written and communication skills (producing documentation, project status reports).
  • Strong reporting skills and ability to utilize Visio, Powerpoint and Use Case experience.
  • Ability to build and gather technical, functional and business requirements.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Ability to articulate technical solutions to various technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to interact with teams and senior management.
  • Team lead or supervisor experience.
  • Experience in application, functional and performance testing.

Education:

BS/BA degree in business, information systems, computer science or related field preferred.
