Description:The position is for an Information Assurance Engineer working for the Lockheed Martin Mission Solutions organization on the Diamondback program. Mission Solutions lines of business and programs including Diamondback has been delivering extraordinary solutions to some of our nation’s most critical imperatives. Applicant should have experience with RHEL, Windows, active directory, and some scripting/development.

As an Information Assurance Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of technical and engineering activities in a collaborative, Agile environment. Under experienced guidance, the candidate will perform security activities in a team environment necessary to support the A&A of software applications and evaluate system changes to assess their impact on security and the mission. The candidate must be able to operate with supervision and direction in a dynamic customer focused environment while demonstrating outstanding team and customer communication/relationship skills.

This candidate is expected to work with the IA team to meet the IA needs including: Compliance, Vulnerability Scanning & Management, Security Architecture, Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) with RMF, and IA Awareness & Training.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:
Basic understanding of network concepts (e.g. TCP/IP, network devices, etc.)
Hands-on cybersecurity/information technology experience with Infrastructure, System Administration, or Development
Familiarity with Linux & Windows operating systems
Experience with identifying and implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
Security+
Desired Skills:
Development or scripting experience
Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Experience with AWS / C2S, virtualization
Experience working with classified Information Systems
CISSP certification
