Job Description Summary
Global Technology Service group, a team of dedicated IT consultants, project managers and business analysts that support our client technology solutions through best-in-class software systems utilizing a service delivery model to deliver value within a clear, consistent and measurable framework. Additionally, we provide assessment, technology roadmap, transition and integration services as well as a continuous improvement-based support model to ensure an ongoing technology investment for the duration of our client relationships.
In support of Global Occupier Services, our team provides business development support including solution definition, pricing, technology demonstration and delivery for Strategy and Portfolio Administration Services, Transaction & Project Management Transaction, Facilities (IFM), Space & Occupancy, and Financial Management.
This is a full-time position and can be located in St. Louis, MO or Witchita with the ability to work from home, office or hoteling space as required. Travel at greater than 50% is required.
Job Description
The role of Technology Program Manager will focus on managing integration and alignment of technology systems includes the following key responsibilities:
Application Ownership & Management of SalesLogix platform activities including the following:
Assess the core functional usage and processes supported by the SalesLogix platform
Review & understand SalesLogix contract management, including review of contractual deliverables for the technology, key terms, securing IT executive, legal & security and compliance items.
Work with clients and account teams to document detailed system features and requirements, develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical capability & performance.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors, ensure proper communications and notification of release management including quality acceptance testing
Technical ownership of client business processes within the SalesLogix application including as needed process evaluation and recommendation for optimization, audit and data governance activities, reporting requirement and documentation support as required.
Change management of SalesLogix including creation of change records, impact analysis, testing plans, document changes related to user process, technical and compliance documentation
Support management including escalation and notification process management for critical incidents, standard performance reporting including SLA’s, problem management and root-cause analysis, where applicable.
Ensure best practices related to C&W IT Policies & Procedures as well as general IT control management including standard operating procedures and audit procedures are implemented and enforced. Contribute to the Technology team knowledgebase with best practices, lessons learned, concept and solutions documents as applied to the SalesLogix and integration environment
Ability to leverage client application for demonstration, data modelling and process development with the client and technical teams
Technology Roadmap Development & Program Management encompassing SalesLogix infrastructure and software as well as the application of new software technologies and systems integration (as required), support service delivery as the software implementation project manager coordinating:
Preparation of architectural and data flow diagrams to support the current and future roadmap solution, as required
Rationalize & align SalesLogix usage and design for Corporate applications including Workday and other required systems to support integrated process support.
Validation with internal Network and Engineering resources, Security & Compliance for any new software, integration or configuration requiring change management
Assistance in the preparation of RFA, budget, project charter, schedule documents as needed to secure resources and funding within a timely manner for proposed roadmap
Working with technical points of contact, preparation of transition plans & activities to adequately support integrations with Corporate and other applications required for business process support.
Work with clients and account teams to document detailed system features and requirements, develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Preparation of resource requirements, roles & responsibilities for C&W IT, C&W Service Line & other internal / external organizations required to support execution of the roadmap
Validation and finalize requirements and costs for transition and ongoing support for change management, as well as working with the overall Transition & Account leads prior to execution of roadmap initiatives.
Solution Implementation and Program / Project Management activities of client software implementation projects including the following
Complete comprehensive project plans to manage projects to be shared with stakeholders, client, resource teams
Coordinate Contract Management, including preparation of contractual deliverables for technology, key terms, securing IT executive, legal & security input and approvals
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors, ensure availability and allocation for the execution of projects
Track project performance, analyse the successful completion of short and long term goals, manage project tasks and delegate appropriately.
Use appropriate techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Coordinate SOW development and approvals tracking
Perform ongoing project management including maintaining accurate tracking records with weekly status reports and updates and monthly budgeting updates
Provide project management oversight and delegation of all BA support analyst activities including migration of data, integration and report development
Provide project closeout activities and transition to Production support
Report and Escalate to management as necessary to ensure sponsorship and support of “at risk” projects
Provide quarterly recommendations on initiatives and project feasibility, success factors and outcomes.
Team Leadership activities to include participation in the following:
Managing product knowledge base for software implementation and delivery
Provide Portfolio and Project updates in the Weekly Service Delivery meeting
Present and participate in the Quarterly stakeholder meetings
Primary Duties
This position has matrixed responsibility through portfolio and projects, mentoring of developing technology resources but no direct reports.
Primary duties include:
60% Technical Program/ Project management of software implementation activities (which includes travel)
20% Application Ownership / Management activities including knowledge / content / process development.
10% Technology Roadmap, Product Management including Initiatives review and recommendations, stakeholder communication platform improvement, communications other leadership activities.
10% Team Leadership activities including global team meetings, training sessions, best practice forums and team building activities.
Guidance will include weekly / bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with your direct supervisor, team monthly and quarterly meetings with GTS Technology leadership. All project materials by DM or PJM are regularly audited for adherence to process. There are “dotted-line” reporting relationships into the client and technical account managers or client and corporate executives for overall program and project transition management activities.
