The Aberdeen Tech Support Engineer Lab will serve multiple roles at the Aberdeen facility as well as all other local Raytheon facilities. The primary role of this person will be to be the liaison between all ICS sites regarding engineering labs integration activities and audits within those labs. This position resides in the Lateral Test Capabilities (LTC) Department, which is part of the Whole Life Engineering Center (WLEC) within Raytheon's Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) organization. In this role, this person will interface with lab managers at Aberdeen, Annapolis Junction, as well as other ICS sites.

A secondary role will be for this person to provide EHSS oversite at the fore mention sites. This responsibility includes managing and implementing safety, environmental, sustainability programs and projects.

Duties will also include oversite of calibration metrics of test equipment, lab compliance and audit preparation, implementing streamline processes, and adherence to SAS command media. Other duties include providing training for all lab managers, maintain site to meet VPP certification requirements, support functional and site EHSS councils, and reduce overall test equipment count.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of related work experience
  • Engineering background
  • Proven experience managing complex project activities and project coordination
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, and detail oriented
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain supportive relationships with peers, clients and partners in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree NOTE: In lieu of Bachelor's degree, candidate may also possess an Associate's degree with 8 years' related experience OR High school Diploma with 12 years' of related experience.
