We are looking for a Contracts Specialist to join our team!
The official face of Raytheon to the customer, Contracts handles communication, negotiation and contract change activity from planning through completion. Working as a strategic business partner with Raytheon ELCAN Optical Technologies, our ultimate aim is to deliver balanced, equitable deals that ensure mutual long-term success. The Contracts Specialist will support the team by performing clerical and administrative contracts duties, , as well as contract analysis activities. This includes implementing and managing non-disclosure agreements, bailment agreements, and template contracts. Other duties include reviewing contracts to confirm compliance with relevant proposals, and Raytheon guidelines.
Post-Secondary education diploma/degree program in Business Administration
Previous experience in contract administration or related field
Ability to recognize and initiate routine contract amendments
Basic knowledge of export license compliance including ITAR, MLAs, and TAAs
Understanding ofFCPA and related anti-corruption regulations.
Effective communicator both orally and in writing with strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork and trust
Capable of multi-tasking and handling several assignments
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Focus on responsiveness with strong time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of ITAR requirements is an asset
Computer proficiency, experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and shared data bases
Experience using business operations software such as Product Center or LN.
Knowledge of contract standards within industry
General knowledge of Supply Chain, Program Management, Product Management and Logistics function Demonstrating self-motivation; effective performance is driven from within rather than being conditional on pressure from external factors (e.g. boss, peers, deadlines, crises, etc.).
Must be able to obtain and maintain Level 2 Secret security clearance
Act as administrator for all customer portals
Assist Manager, Contracts with order approval agendas and meetings
Assist Contract Administrator with duties as required due to workload and vacation
Coordinate as required with other internal Functions to respond to contract queries
coordinate with Program Management to ensure contract documentation is properly maintained in Product Center
responsible for maintaining databases and distribution of required contract information to different functions
Is the customer liaison regarding outstanding payments, low-level negotiations, and general inquiries
Review, comment and approve routine proposals
accountable for coordinating debarment and FCPA due diligence.
Assist with drafting basic contract terms and provide interpretation to functional leads
Exhibits ability to follow company policies, rules and regulations. Willingness to comply with all pertinent Raytheon Environmental, Health, & Safety, organizational directives, instructions and other applicable programs.
