Our Government Services division is seeking an experienced Senior Aerospace Test & Evaluation Engineer to work as part of a team within the Air Combat Systems Branch and support the Commonwealth Test & Evaluation Lead.
To be successful in this role, you must have sufficient professional experience in planning, scheduling and conducting work requiring judgement in the independent evaluation, selection ad adaption of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, applied within an aviation compliance management framework.
Assisting in the planning and coordination of T&E activities
Production of test plans and test cards
Data collection and management
Assisting in the coordination of T&E activities during execution
Conduct independent verification and validation analysis and development, including assignment of appropriate methods for verifying compliance with requirements
Mapping the test results back to Critical Operational Issues (COIs), Measures of Operational Effectiveness, Suitability and Performance (MOEs, MOSs and MOPs)
Maintaining the master list of COIs, MOEs, MOSs and MOPs
Assisting in the production of post activity reporting.
Assisting with the coordination and conduct of T&E Working Groups.
Develop plans and reports appropriate to the activities being undertaken
Conduct activity hazard analyses, and reporting
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Engineering with a T&E context
Bachelor of Engineering degree or above, preferably Aerospace related
Eligibility for membership of Engineers Australia
Previous experience in Aviation Flight Test
Long course Flight Test qualification from a recognized Test Pilot School or Aero Systems Course or OT&E short course
Experience in one or more DT&E, AT&E or OT&E programs
Australian Citizenship with current or previous AGSVA Security Clearance at NV1 or higher
