We are searching for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our exceptional team supporting the THAAD program. When enemies attack, governments must be ready to defend their soldiers, citizens and infrastructure. That’s where THAAD comes in as one of the most advanced missile defense systems in the world. The THAAD system provides the critical capability to defend against short and medium ranged ballistics missiles.

Some of your day to day responsibilities will include:
• Development of Missile component requirements for obsolescence and redesign projects
• Executing and/or supporting requirements and design reviews
• Preparing for, and representing Systems Engineering in major reviews
• Performing requirements verification activities
• Utilizing DOORS for requirements development and maintenance activities

We are looking for a colleague with excellent verbal and written communication skills, who has the ability to articulate complex technical and programmatic issues to a variety of audiences. Ideally, you will have proven expertise in complex missile, space, and/or aircraft systems. You are someone who has the ability to drive closure and resolve technical issues/challenges, and you should be willing to travel as business needs require

You would typically have a Bachelors degree with 5 years of professional experience; or a Masters and 3 years, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience developing requirements and performing requirements verification & planning
• Experience with DOORS, or similar requirements management tool
• Product life cycle experience: CONOPS, SRR, PDR, CDR, Verification, Validation (any/all phases)
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• MS Engineering
• EVMS/CAM experience
• Familiarity with configuration control and quality control tools and systems (e.g., EPDM, Q-notes, VRICs, Change Requests)
