Come be a part of the development of the new Hypersonic Conventional Strike Weapon (HCSW). This new air-launched weapon system will include phases progressing through design, flight test, initial production and deployment of the weapon system.


As part of the Systems Engineering team, this Systems Project Engineering Associate will be supporting the Booster development, integration, testing, verification and test flights for the HCSW Program. The job will include basic Systems Engineering and Project functions including supporting work in all Systems Engineering disciplines to include system design, requirements definition, allocation, maintenance, verification/validation, system integration, systems analysis and test. In addition, the Systems Engineer will support major program reviews including SRR, PDR, and CDR.


OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in Specification and Interface Control Document development
- Support the requirements verification process to include development of Verification and Test Plans
- Support missile system analyses in support of mission planning and execution
- Support tests at various test ranges; some travel may be required
The Systems Engineer will be involved in all phases of the project life cycle (e.g., architecture development, CONOPS, requirements definition, design, qualification, verification, integration assembly and test).
The Systems Engineer will work in a team environment and will interface with multiple disciplines, program management and customers to help drive to a complete solution

Basic Qualifications:
BS in Engineering or Related filed, e.g., Physics, Aerospace Eng.
Basic Experience with Systems Engineering Fundamentals
Proficiency with MS Office tool set
Matlab, LabView or other Modeling/Tool experience
Ability to perform in fast paced dynamic environment
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
Understanding of the Systems Engineering Life Cycle Phases
Understanding of Missile Dynamics mechanics and analysis
Analytical Tool experience (ANSYS, Mathematica, etc)
SYSML experience
