KBR Australia has been engaged in working with Defence in Australia for over 20 years and has developed core competencies in systems engineering, systems and enterprise architecture, project management and integrated logistics support, to provide technical and management assistance to a wide range of defence projects.

Our Modelling, Simulation & Training Solutions Business Unit seeks experienced 3D Modellers to join our team for approximately 10 weeks from mid-April 2019.

The work to be undertaken is in support of the LHD Sustainment project within the Australian Navy.

The role(s) will be based at Majura Park in Canberra.

Responsibilities

The successful candidates will use 3DS Max to

create 3D models for use in a VR training product, using

established visual styles and assets, to produce models for use in VR that are consistent with existing content.

Successful candidates will have:

years’ experience in

3D modelling for real-time (Unity and VR a definite advantage) 3

years’ experience with hard surface modelling in a commercial environment (experience optimising/tessellating CAD data for real-time 3D modelling)

An organised approach with good technical housekeeping skills

Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe suite

3D production pipeline experience

An online folio of work

Excellent written and spoken communication skills
