You will perform as a member of a team in the role of a Manufacturing Engineer Associate supporting manufacturing operations. This role will require you to be organized with exceptional attention-to-detail skills. You will collaborate with manufacturing engineers, technicians, and other key essential team members supporting manufacturing. Individuals in this role typically have no more than 1 year of professional experience, are able to work independently, are self-starters with the ability to think, and are dedicated in their efforts.
Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• You will utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline manufacturing processes and enhance production.
• Support and develop strategic initiatives to improve the organization.
• You will interpret engineer drawings and create work instructions for technicians to support product build.
• Support shop floor technicians.
• You will resolve work stoppages through defect disposition, root cause analysis, equipment support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create and maintain relationships with a multi-disciplined team.
• Conceptualize assembly using strong mechanical aptitudes, understanding of material properties, heat transfer, and structural properties.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.
