We are looking for a Procurement Specialist with experience in program development and execution, as well as in equipment and material management, inventory control, property accountability, procurement, and security. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with previous experience supporting the US Intelligence Community (IC). A diverse background in short and long-range planning and exposure to budget challenges would be greatly beneficial in this position. You will be joining a tight-knit team who is dedicated to the mission but understands the importance of a flexible and supportive working atmosphere. You must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and contributing ideas to help us continuously improve our service offerings.

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
• Managing, tracking and documenting procurement purchase process from beginning to end
• Maintaining a clear understanding of customer technical requirements through close and continuing interaction
• Keeping track of multiple active procurements via ongoing communication with vendors and suppliers, confirming lead times, delivery dates, etc.
• Staying up to date on technologies that pertain to specific customer requierments
• Documenting day-to-day activities clearly and consistently
• Identifying and implementing improvements to our processes
• Monitor spending that is tied to specific contracts and funding
• Building and maintaining strong relationships to create a cohesive and effective team
