General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Java Developer to join our Army Installation Support Modules (ISM) Project.  The ideal candidate will be able to design, develop, document, test, debug and maintain functionalities for the Army Human Resources Systems (AHRS) software application.  The ideal candidate needs to have an active Secret Clearance.

 

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Overall 5+ years’ experience with Java development in a working environment
  • Experience developing client and server side web applications using Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Java

Server Pages (JSP), Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB), HTML, XML, XHTML, CSS, etc.

  • Experience correcting software deficiencies and developing new capabilities
    Database experience with SQL, ideally PL/SQL
  • Experience using a versioning and revision control system, ideally Apache Subversion
  • Great communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Experience using HP Application Lifecycle Manager
  • Experience creating and editing PDF’s with Adobe Experience Manager – Forms Designer
  • Experience in developing integration software specifically Oracle WebLogic

Education:
