The SAS Hardware Engineering Center is seeking qualified candidates to join the Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance Systems (ISRS) Radar and Special Mission Aircraft (SMA) Department. The ISRS Radar and SMA Department supports design, development, integration, and production of radar equipment and is looking for engineers to support all of these activities.
The candidates will work in one or more of the following areas:
Radar design, development, and integration in one or more of the following fields: RF (Radio Frequency)/Microwave, Digital/FPGA, Analog/Mixed Signal, or Power.
Radar production support which includes activities such as troubleshooting hardware, developing solutions to test issues, developing productivity and efficiency enhancements, updating design documentation, working with suppliers to resolve component issues, and evaluating design changes.
Minimum 6 years of experience performing any combination of the activities listed in the job description
Experience with electronics and electrical circuits as well as ability to isolate failures to root cause
Experience with EE lab equipment such as multi-meters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers
Ability to read drawings and electrical schematics
For radar design positions, proficiency with related simulation and design tools
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Desired Education: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
