Job Description:

Raytheon Missile Systems and the JSOW® program are seeking to hire a Field Service Representative (FSR) to manage the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) program. The objective of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia FSR is to provide Technical Support to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Ministry of Defense for the Joint Standoff Weapon JSOW®. The FSR will support the JSOW® AGM-154C (Block III) configuration at various locations in KSA. The FSR will participate in training at various U.S. locations prior to deployment to KSA.

  • Field Service Representation and Subject Matter Expertise to Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) personnel
  • A thorough and detailed understanding of the JSOW weapon system
  • Technical Assistance with JSOW Mission Planning
  • Technical Assistance with JSOW missile handling, loading, and maintenance

In addition the role requires the following, but not limited, to activities as part of the mission:
  • Provide field service subject matter expertise to Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) staff
  • Provide technical assistance with JSOW mission planning
  • Provide technical assistance with JSOW missile handling, loading and maintenance
  • Evaluate, assess, and provide training to RSAF personnel for the JSOW AGM-154C (Block III) configuration
  • Troubleshoot and identify faults using the Common Munitions BIT Reprogramming Equipment (CMBRE)
  • Direct and support the installation, maintenance, and operation of all aspects of the JSOW support equipment
  • Evaluate and document field operational capability, availability and utilization to Customer and Program Office via reports
  • Interface with customers in the field and reach back to Engineers state side for support
Special Work Circumstances:
Extensive travel will be required. Must be willing and able to deploy to environments that may include harsh living conditions (extreme heat and cold, deployed living conditions and/or hostile work environment). Primary location to be in middle-east desert with temperatures above 120 degrees F. Must be willing and able to move and/or lift weights such as test equipment, ladders, tools and cable reels weighing up to 60 pounds using proper lifting techniques or using material moving equipment. Must be willing and able to work 12-16 hours a day and be on call 24/7. Must be willing and able to climb platforms (appx. 12 feet). Must be willing and able to travel over rough uneven terrain. This assignment is 1 year In-Country with an option of an additional year.

Medical Requirements:
  • Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for oversees assignment including comprehensive post-offer medical examination

Required Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in loading ordnance on fighter class aircraft
  • Strong proficiency in armament maintenance and inspection
  • Proven demonstration of leadership competencies, especially influential communications, cultivating innovation, collaboration, customer focus, and driving results
  • Display ability to develop, communicate, implement tactical plans
  • Experience in fostering collaboration between functional organizations as well as keeping team members focused and accountable for schedule milestones and objectives. Motivating program team to develop cost effective customer-oriented solutions and approaches
Security Clearance:
  • Must be a US citizen and required to have or have held (in the last 12 months) an active U.S. Security clearance.

Desired Skills:
  • Arabic language skills & cultural awareness
  • Demonstrated knowledge of military protocol, to include the KSA
  • 6+ years of experience directly supporting program objectives managing cost, schedule and technical performance
  • Demonstrated development and application of integrated master plan and schedule, risk and opportunity management, Earned Value management, closed loop corrective actions, and financial reporting
  • Certifications
    • Raytheon Program Management Certification Level 5
    • Earned Value Management
    • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP®)
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering discipline, processes, and development execution
  • Demonstrated capability to focus, evaluate, and motivate teams, enabling them to achieve desired results
  • Working knowledge of Understanding of ITAR and Export Import (EX/IM) (will be trained for Raytheon unique policies)

Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelor’s degree in non-technical related field,

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
