US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team. We are seeking a Project Supervisor that is able to work independently – please read below!

  1. Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management.
  2. Works with Site Lead and Team Supervisors in a weak matrixed environment to deliver IT projects throughout the Middle East.
  3. Participates in the development of technical project plans, schedules, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
  4. May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.
  5. Conducts planning, briefings, and provides recommendations on task workload.
  6. Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary liaison.
  7. Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff.
  8. Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
  9. Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
  10. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  11. Participates in special projects as required.
  12. Effective management skills.
  13. Effective administrative and organizational skills.
  14. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  15. Will be required to assist site lead, systems, network, desktop support, cyber, and logistics teams.

Additional Requirements:

 

  1. 8-10 years of related experience, including supervisory experience.
  2. Must possess and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. 
  3. Experience supporting multination customers preferred.
  4. Experience operating in deployed environments preferred. Selected candidate must be willing to travel throughout the Middle East. Travel may be via commercial or military transport. Modes of transport include, but are not limited to; car, truck, armored vehicle, fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
  5. Additional specific certifications may be required, depending on job assignment. 
  6. This position may be required to complete short-term deployments to austere locations worldwide. Candidate will be expected to live alongside deployed military personnel in military provided accommodation. Housing options include, but are not limited to; open bay tents and multi-personnel containerized housing units “CHUs”.
  7. Must be able to pass all pre-deployment requirements (medical, dental, and psychological) and be able to obtain all required immunizations deemed necessary.
  8. The work is typically performed at client site locations, which requires proper safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.

Education:

Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

 

Professional certification (PMP) preferred.
