Description: SAIC is looking for a Systems Engineer for the Close Combat Weapon Systems Project Office, TOW Weapon System Product Office.
The systems engineer will be responsible for the integration, installation, test, and documentation of the TOW Weapon System.
The candidate for this position will perform the following subtasks: Perform TOW systems requirements analysis and performance studies, formulate technical solutions and make recommendations for systems development, testing and integration.
Perform and analyze testing against documented requirements and make recommendations/proposals for incorporating component design changes into the TOW weapon systems.
Monitor status of projects, prepare milestone status reports, and present status to program managers and engineering staff.
Provide support to integrate and manage system architectures as directed by the Customer.
Ensure cohesive, integrated systems architectures and ensure compliance with systems engineering processes to meet weapon system requirements.
Provide assistance for developing technical documentation and configuration management that pertain to weapon systems architecture.
Perform quality assurance testing and data documentation for Improved Target Acquisition System (ITAS) upgrades and fielding.
The candidate will support the technical domains of Quality Assurance, Test, and Engineering.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Must have an active Secret Security Clearance.
