Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS) Global Trade seeks an experienced professional to manage Business Execution for the organization. This position provides leadership and management expertise to the RMS Global Trade Director on all internal operational matters to include but not limited to, application of RTN policy, monitoring and controls of Global Trade performance, performance development, employee recognition, special events, and coordination of the Global Trade Leadership Team. Additionally, the Business Execution Manager leads a small team of Global Trade professionals to deliver process and tool support, training, and administrative functions for all RMS Global Trade employees. Further, the Business Execution Manager contributes to Enterprise solutions necessary for efficient and productive Global Trade operations through participation in multiple cross-Business Unit teams. The Business Execution Manager (BEM) acts as the key interface between RMS Functional Leadership and Global Trade and contributes to learning and development of all RMS employees through leadership of cross-functional teams to produce resources critical for success.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Plan, direct and oversee execution of RMS Global Trade business activities, e.g. Performance Development, metrics collection and analysis, process development and maintenance, Training production and deliveryInterpret global trade policies and policy instructions for non-GT employees; provide consistent guidance on wide-spread GT operational matters, e.g. Document MarkingAnticipate RMS employee GT related needs and gaps, and provide solutionsOversee, manage and participate in inter-organizational, cross-functional and corporate projects to support business objectivesAnalyze Policy / Policy Instructions, disclosures, regulatory changes, assessments and other feedback mechanisms for potential flow-down to RMS functional leaders, changes to tools or local process, or updates to training materialActively participate in Enterprise GT metrics development, collection, and analysisParticipate in Enterprise-level Business Execution group for collaboration on common solutions, to include planning and execution of Enterprise level events.Lead and supervise the RMS GT Business Execution team (up to 5 direct reports)Develop Communications and other methods for notifying impacted employees of changes to GT policies and instructionsLead and manage development of training related to GT Tools, support development of and provide training pertaining to export / import tools.Coordinate with RMS GT Leadership team, to include responsibility for planning and execution of staff meetingsLead development of monthly metrics and status charts for review by GT, RMS, and Corporate leadershipParticipate in Enterprise Metrics Community Of Practice meetings to support continuous improvement efforts to ensure alignment between metrics, reporting, & oversight with organizational goals and strategyLead the Application Tracking Tool Configuration Control Board

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of management/leadership experience (program management, functional management, compliance)
  • Experience in managing and supervising a team of individual contributors
  • Deep understanding of operational processes, e.g. indirect budgets, performance development, travel and expense.
  • Experience effectively applying U.S. Government regulatory requirements in complex scenarios and analyzing and solving highly complex problems
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel within the organization to develop and deploy effective solutions across multiple functions
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills and the ability to learn quickly, manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to lead to success teams of cross functional members to achieve broader buy in of automation solutions
  • Able to identify potential failures or faults of systems and propose proactive solutions
  • Able to present recommendations to solve business challenges
  • Problem solver, able to work under time sensitive circumstances, collaboratively or independently, and take initiative to address situations before issues arise

Desired Skills:
  • Previous experience working international defense programs
  • Experience researching, interpreting and applying government regulations such as ITAR and EAR
  • Experience in leading process or software development teams
  • Experience in use of key electronic tools such as RGEMS, ITCS, OCR (Licensing and JCA), and Business Warehouse/BOBJ
  • Demonstrated ability to engage business leaders to drive cross-functional implementation of new procedural solutions and tools / system changes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Ability to work and influence in a heavily matrix environment

Required Education:

BS or BA degree in relevant field such as International Business, Law, Engineering, Computer science, Information Technology or other related area. 137042
