    The Raytheon Mobile Range® team, based in Albuquerque, NM, are leaders in mobile flight test support, precision RF tracking sensors, systems, and solutions, precision multi-spectral optical tracking systems, satellite systems support and tracking, complex system integration, software and automation, and document production supporting all program phases from concept development through to operational support and fielding exercises. Key growth opportunities within the team include engineering and management positions associated with new major program awards associated with complex system of systems integration and multi-spectral optical programs.
    The Program Manager is responsible for program leadership and execution of all phases, from kick off through to program close out activities for the PDSS program. Activities include direct management and oversight of the technical, financial, and schedule aspects of assigned programs.The position requires extensive interaction with the program customer as well as Raytheon leadership.It includes P&L responsibility and requires a strong focus on customer mission success.

    The successful candidate is responsible for program leadership and execution of all phases of execution to program close out activities for the PDSS program. Activities include direct management and oversight of the technical, financial, and schedule aspects of the program. The position requires extensive interaction with multiple program customers, as well as, Raytheon leadership. In addition, the position includes added complexity in their ability to influence, lead, and drive results in a multi-faceted, multi-functional organization. It includes P&L responsibility and requires a strong focus on execution and customer mission success.Familiarity with earned value management techniques and metrics is strongly desired.

    Requirements:

    · Currently have a minimum existing Secret Security Clearance required
    · Prior program management or large scale IPT lead experience in complex programs
    · Demonstrated experience managing development contracts
    · 10+ years DoD experience in Program Management, and/or appropriate functional experience in directly supporting program objectives managing cost, schedule and technical performance
    · Experience leading diverse teams of engineers, technicians, and scientists across broad areas of expertise
    · Self-starter requiring minimal direction, able to drive daily workflow based upon contract and customer requirements, WBS, and IMS/CMS
    · Experience with program development lifecycle
    · Strong customer interface, teaming, and communication skills
    · Occasional travel may be required

    Desired Skills:

    · Multi-functional stretch assignment(s) with broad perspectives of cross-functional responsibilities
    · Proposal development experience
    · Possess an EVMS Certification
    · Program Management Certification Level 4
    · Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with leaders and employees.
    · Experience working in multiple functional areas

    Required Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related. STEM degree preferred.
