ManTech is seeking a Project Manager to support ManTech's Health and Federal Civilian Business unit at our Baltimore, MD location. Typical responsibilities include: planning, organizing and managing a project, or series of smaller projects or a definable piece of a larger program for successful completion and performance consistent with contractual agreements. Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities. Manages the technical direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives. Responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading or assisting with proposals. Projects managed are typically of moderate technical complexity.
This position requires a thorough knowledge of and extensive experience with supervision and management of multi-disciplined work groups. Experience must include a project management role with government and/or private sector entities focused on the development of operational guidelines and the processing of work related items over an extended period of time. Experience in supervising projects with ongoing review activity is essential. Hand on experience with analysis of healthcare-related data as it relates to fraud, waste and abuse OR managing programs that oversee this type of work is needed
Education Requirements include: A Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Certification in project management is required.
