Job Description:
The SNS Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is looking for a strong finance employee wanting to make a difference within the product line. SNS FP&A is a team of employees located within the SNS product line and associated programs in Tucson, AZ. We share the responsibility of consolidating, analyzing, advising, and reporting of key financial metrics.
Successful candidate will have the following opportunities:

  • New Business Investment (NBI) planning and forecasting
  • Support monthly PL reviews, quarterly financial reviews, and 5 Year planning
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as well as ad-hoc analysis
  • Assist with preparing financial forecast guidance to program and product line leaders based upon trend and R&O analysis
  • Minimum 2-years of experience with a related Bachelor’s Degree , OR
  • Related Master’s Degree
  • Solid understanding of finance policies, help ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures

Minimum Required Skills:
  • Minimum 2-years of related experience with a related Bachelor’s Degree in business, Accounting, Finance or related field , ORRelated Master’s Degree 0 years of experience
  • Demonstrated ability to use financial systems (SAP, BW, RPlan, etc.), and tools (Program on a Page, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Successful candidate will need to develop a solid understanding of the relationships and links between the financial systems and have the ability to manipulate large amounts of data while demonstrating the ability to determine relevance and accuracy of system data
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are a must because both the team and programs are located in various buildings and locations across RMS
  • Attention to detail and ability to translate data into stories
  • Confidence to help drive change
  • Able and willing to tackle new assignments without the aid of relying on already defined structures or approaches
  • Capable of handling a high stress environment with multiple tasks going on simultaneously, new tasks layering in on top of the ones already due, revisions sprinkling in with no option for any of the tasks due dates slipping out

  • Inquisitive (and acts on it) with strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • A drive for leading process change, willing and able to partner with cross business teams to improve forecast accuracy
  • Experience in program finance (managing multiple contracts, earned value management, Estimate at Complete (EACs))

  • This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
