Job Description:

Raytheon IIS / Systems Integration & Technical Support seeks a VB ASP.NET developer for programs at Raytheon’s Lawton Facility. The VB ASP.NET Developer will be responsible for collaborative and application projects aimed at improving operational efficiencies within the organization by leveraging the Microsoft platform utilizing SharePoint server 2010 & 2013, InfoPath, and various other MS components.
The .NET Developer will also play an integral role in the development, customization and integration efforts of solutions involving POWR, an In-house Training Material Generation System.

Additionally, responsibility will include:

  • User trouble tickets
  • System backups.
  • Facility IT security.
  • Update and maintain the current application platform,
  • Creating new applications on an as needed basis.
  • Document and maintain all applications.

Required Skills:
  • Must have at least 4 years working experience in related software development field.
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and Database Programming.
  • Must have advanced knowledge in ASP.NET web programming, Visual Basic or C#. Microsoft .NET frameworks and MS SQL Server, IIS.
  • Familiarity with windows OS functionality, usage, file systems and structures, organization, researching and internet use among others.

Desired Skills:
  • Reporting Tools: SQL Server Reporting Services
  • SharePoint experience is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Required Education (including Major):

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline. May substitute experience for education. (i.e., no degree plus 12 years of related experience or Associates degree or related technical schooling plus 8 years of related experience.)
