Job Description:

Risk Assessment & Compliance team member responsibilities include: providing leadership in coordinating, assessing, and analyzing data to determine security trends, review and understand classified threat reports, conduct interviews of employees, customers, suppliers and government representatives, review classified and unclassified critical technology for open risks, and provide final reports to leadership on risks and non-compliances within programs, and geo-separated sites.

Basic Qualifications:

A minimum of 4 years of experience is required (or a Bachelor's degree as described below), to include:

  • Knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
  • Experienced in conducting internal risk or NIPSOM compliance inspections
  • Preparation and presentation of written and verbal reports and materials to a range of employees and customers.
  • Willing and able to present to all levels of employees and customers (incorporated into the item above)
  • Solution of routine problems of limited to moderate scope and complexity as they relate to security and risk assessment.
  • Independent decision-making and Self-starter with minimal supervision
  • Able to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Able to travel on company business (approximately 10-20% travel)
  • Ability to learn, share, and apply Learning and application of new materials, tools, processes, etc.
  • Must already hold an active DoD Secret security clearance in order to be considered.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Defense Security Services (DSS) and Security Vulnerability Inspections
  • Experienced in conducting internal risk or NIPSOM compliance inspections
  • Understanding of the Raytheon IPDS process or similar toolset
  • Government Database Experience, e.g., JPAS, e-QIP, eFCL
  • Working knowledge of Raytheon Global Security Services tool sets, e.g., Access Commander, Perspective, eSecurity, and VRS
  • Knowledge of Joint Air Force Army Navy (JAFAN) Manuals & Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705
  • Completed training courses offered by DSS SPeD related to Facility Security Officer Role
  • Certified Industrial Security Professional or similar related certification


Required Education (including Major):

Bachelor’s degree within Security and/or Risk Management, or similarly related field.
